Another day, another lack-of-power-at-the-office-so-I’m-gonna-go-to-a-coffee-shop situation. Good thing we’ve got MacBooks and Campfire. Since I basically can’t post anything I’ve been working on without giving away top-secretness (though I was going to post some censored screenshots on Friday, but the power went out and I took that to mean it was a stupid idea), I’m going to review the coffee shop instead.

I can think of three coffee shops within walking distance of my house; today I’m trying out Aroma’s on Jackson and 11th St. It’s really fancy. They play Beck and Blondie and Queen on the speakers; not bad. I purchased an iced americano with room. I added some half & half. It’s good. I’m wired. They have free wi-fi. They don’t appear to be short on outlets. Once you’re inside, there aren’t really any windows…which would actually be great if you have one of those laptops from when they thought it was cool to make glossy screens. The end.

p.s. I had really good eggplant last week for “Grill Friday.”

p.p.s. I finally changed my blogging password so it’s not “password” anymore. You hackers missed your chance.
